i was just watching an episode of the later (with doggett instead of mulder) xfiles where a convicted-murderer-cuum-swami-cult-leader kills people in their dreams.

i was just watching it not 2 minutes ago and this was the first thread i happened to randomly click on...

It is not the sole invention of person whose name appears most often if one enters the subject - "dream hunters" onto most conventional search engines.

Someone else beat the punchline almost two decades ago.

Dream Hunters. But there is a twist. For the moment that is all the input I can reasonably contribute due to several lines of inquiry too pressing to go into this further.

Wizard. I don't know that is a word I would use, were I to continue. Shaman, Brujo, Dream Hunters, Yes. I would use such terminology were I disposed to discuss the subject further.

You're actually on to something there, Rev. SG. Spirits can and do communicate with us while we are dreaming on the astral plane. Oftentimes they are not familiar with our language or proper social etiquette and for somebody not receptive or "familiar" with them (most people) a good intentioned spirit can scare the crap out of them.

A good example was this morning. In my dream, I was sleeping on the couch, laying with my face torwards the back of the couch. Suddenly an invisible force grabs my shoulder and starts rocking me back and forth. I am paralyzed and somewhat alarmed at being shaken by an unseen force, and concentrate on waking up, which I do, sitting up and scanning the room for an intruder-of course there is not one, I am back on my couch in the physical realm. Turns out, my alarm wasn't set, and it was time to get up for work.

I once had a dream of a crushing blackness that was crushing my head and it had a voice ..it was saying "dont look at me" ...."dont look at me" ..and it was a deep and menacing voice. I had to struggle to wake up ...but i beat it. It was very intense dream. Very weird .....i battled something that early morning.

Just before the couch sleeping scene in my dream, I was familiar with a sensation that felt like I was reassembling myself from many different directions and places. Many different things going on simultaneously, all being withdrawn from to reintegrate, and then being awakened.

From the Source I was informed that psychics were tried for use in warfare.

The Visitors can do seemingly magical things.With me they formed a link with my mind and simply stayed in communication for days on end until i was frantic,even possibly suicidal. They stopped before that point though.
It is effective.
