Col. George Griggs was not the 29th Marine Corps. Commandant, Nor was he ever Marine Corps. Commandant. Gen. Alfred M. Gray was the 29th Commandant.

The Commandant of the Marine Corps. is a 4 Star General. Not a Colonel.

I noticed the lady mentions Al Gray. Interesting. Again, Like I already said, you don't know that this George Griggs wasn't just angry over not making General Rank. I noticed alot of websites listing Col. Griggs as the 29th Commandant. If they won't do there research on Commandants of the Marine Corps. and take everything this woman reads at face value (I say again, with no noticeable research) Then how much can you really trust this stuff?

But I don't think she ever said Griggs (her ex husband) was the commander. I believe she said he was Gray's chief of staff. He definitely worked under Gray.
