You could still buy lower recievers without registering them. It was really easy to buy pieces and build your own gun. Now, you would have to buy a lower reciever blank and have it formed on a sheet metal brake to build an unregistered gun. We have a few manufacturers in Wyoming, so we can still buy guns unregistered, but the hot ticket is to build your own. As long as the reciever is the SNed part, you still end up with a registered gun unless you have a sheet metal brake. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. "America is at that awkward stage. Gun grabbers know this, and they are not happy. Technically, they can't control guns in Commerce Clause anyway, but they have for so long, I guess it's grandfathered in. They wont know you have it, but they might find it if they come for the others. |
