If aliens come visiting us , they must be far more tecnologicaly advanced than us . Does this mean with all their technology they trashed they world anyway ??????

I'd assume because of the sun in their system, if any aliens are like us, then that would be the reason, finding someplace new and that would be it.

The plot in many movies is that they need our water. Battle for L.A.

That internet site that does "how it should have ended" should have done something where in the first 5 minutes of the movie a nerdy high school science teacher and the saved by the bell class show the invaders how to take a tank of 02 and any hydrocarbon, with a small electrical spark to make water.

They are capable of interstellar travel, with near infinite power requirements, but they cant mine comments/asteroids in their own solar systems.

I sure hope that Aaron Eckhart guy (the star) participates in the hollywood campaign against guns. 2 hours of guns blazing, hero complexs, martyrs, death and revenge, all without providing the non-violent lesson anybody who drives in traffic on a cold day can see.
