I think he will come when the last person he wants saved...is saved.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30600228

Then what the hell is the point in him coming back here if everyone else is in heaven?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27764698

It's called the "Millennial Reign". Satan has had his time to screw things up here, Jesus will come back and establish HIS Kingdom here (once the earth is restored from the nukes that will be flying during the Tribulation) for 1000 yrs. and show Him how it's done! Rather than try to argue this point, wouldn't it be better to accept Him as your Savior and be a part of this anticipation? There's nothing like that peace in this world of despair and doom!

I am certainly LOOKING UP!!

So what do you think about all the dead generations that thought just like you? That did really nothing because I feel like my generation failed me but that’s not true.

My parents failed me, my grandparents and many families have failed to stop this tyrannical system.

Americans now are so stupid now that they continue to accept being poisoned and knowingly willing and accepting mental desensitizing projections/materials.

BAAAAA, BAAAA, SAVE ME! BAAAA, BAAA,

Grow some balls!

Re: When you least expect it, Jesus will return!
Flesh will not see the returned Christ. As he arrives as the all consuming fire....all flesh will be destroyed.
 Quoting: Chip

No, not all flesh will be destroyed. If the Tribulation is not shortened, then no, no flesh would survive, for Satan would have us all die, BUT because our Saviour, Jesus Christ DOES come...His remnant will be a witness to His coming and will be changed in the twinkling of an eye into their resurrection bodies, one like His.

Matthew 24:22
22 If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.

1 Corinthians 15:52
52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31414718

Changed in the twinkling of an eye...what do you think that means? It means all flesh burns away.
 Quoting: Chip

Chip, I'm pretty sure there will be those who won't be resurrected, they didn't take the mark, but they weren't necessarily 'all for Christ' either; they won't be 'changed', as the Millennium will be populated by mortal men as well, 'as the sands of the seashore' and I know that the Bible states that the armies of Armageddon who come against Jerusalem will be destroyed. Is there some scripture I am missing here?

Revelation 20:7-10
7 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. 9 They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Zechariah 14:12-13
12 This is the plague with which the Lord will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot while they are still standing on their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths. 13 On that day men will be stricken by the Lord with great panic. Each man will seize the hand of another, and they will attack each other.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31414718

Yeshua himself stated that "it is the will of the father that all are saved". I have no reason to disbelieve his words in that statement. Most biblical blowhards can't tell their sock from their shirt.

Through history people have been saying this. I will tell you this. To expect Jesus to come save the day is when the enemy puts a bullet in your head!

You should not expect Jesus to come save your sorry asses. Grow some balls one day and fight!

When that time comes many men will become women and many men will become real men!

That's my two cents! Take it or leave it!

Sound advice

It's crazy that people today think that the bible was written specifically for them. People a hundred years ago thought it was just for them. Two hundred years ago, the same thing. It's just a damn book, people.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29941383

I'm starting to wonder that. I mean for years and years and YEARS we've been waiting, but those same people have passed. Now here we all are, doing the same damn thing. As if we are the special group. Wtf

I'm wondering lately, it's been a few thousand years, none of us were there to witness anything. We go by a book that has been translated, chapters left out, and handed down over the course of time..and no Jesus yet. I don't know now... I'm afraid I don't see it happening folks.

Ever wonder why people can't wait and hope its in their lifetime? I assume they are afraid to die and want to see the proof before they actually head out. The older I get and the more I see, I hope, but I become less and less convinced of this second coming.

Jesus had compassion on the masses. We are the masses. I think He was mostly speaking to His apostles.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31307312

Probably, but if I am understanding you correctly, then why do people insist He is coming back. I mean there's Revelations, but again, the bible is how many years old?
And the problem is that everyone who believes are always expecting His return....when we least expect it is never going to happen. People are begging and banking on it.

Re: When you least expect it, Jesus will return!
With all of this talk about Doomsday, we are being conditioned to believe that He is not coming back. There is a scripture about that somewhere. He will return when the "elite" least expect it. Which may be any day now!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31307312

The scriptures are written by the Jews and the Jews take an oath to lie. Jesus is dead and he is not rising from hell with all the other dammed in hell but in my lifetime. Jesus should have never underestimated the Mother of God. Didn't 2000 years teach him anything.
