What provider is it? Straighttalk by chance?

is it prepay? i have net10 now the cheaper phones non smart phones seem to run off verion and at my house i get no bars unless it on my windowsill, im out in the boonies but i can talk in the driveway with 1 bar, i just got a smart phone for the thanksgiving deals and get nothing at my house now, i have to drive 4 miles into town before it will work AT ALL, pisses me the fuck off, im gonna sell it on ebay to get some money back, it goes off different towers, the ATT towers i found out

yupper it's a straight talk droid cell Ph and the parent company is tracphone and it $45 a month unlimited talk,text Web etc and in the area IM in it's using verizons cell towers and I also got one of straight talks home phone unit that is a little black box with pretty blue lights and it has two phone jacks that you just plug your home Ph into and it has a little rubber duckie antenna on it and come to find out it to just uses verizons cell towers here to and it has a built in rechargeable battery that keeps it going for I think 12 hrs in case of pwr failure and get this, since it has the built in battery I took it and jumped in my car and made and recieved phone calls driving down the Rd w it lol but looks kinda strange when u r at a traffic light and people look at you talking on a corded phone hehe but heck it's a poor mans version of a car phone and it's only $15 a month unlimited calls to anywhere in the good old USA.

Yupper it's prepay the home unit is to and maybe u should try one of straight talks home units cause hell it works great and u can plug in you home phone to it and take it w u in yur car like I tried and actually sounds better than a regular cellphone does

I have a refurbished HTC One X that is in competition with the latest iPhone, and the Samsung Galaxy SIII and it's the best phone I've ever had. The largest screen, as far as thinnest it is second only to the iPhone.

I have unlimited talk & text and 300mb data cap and I barely go through any of it. I say switch it out and get a refurbished top line phone. Best $10 I ever spent.

BTW, it was $35 for the activation plus $10 for the actual phone and I only pay $35 a month for my plan. Factor in screen protector, Ballistic SG case and we're talking a little under $100 for a phone (the HTC One X) that is practically future proof.

Of course it's always good to have a burner or back up phone.

Yea I know those htcs are kick ass but what company are they on cause IM very deep in the mountains of TN and I do slot of traveling and I've had verizon for many years and I can drive from my home here in TN to Calif and never lose or have a dropout call

Oh and btw, I have told several of my friends about the straight talk home unit and a few of them said they don't carry the home units so I dunno if they just havnt got them out yet to all the stores yet or what but they are new as they just came out w them on sept 20the I think it was but u can order them of wallyworlds website

AT&T has HTCs. Not sure about Sprint or Verizon. Walmart has some decent plans.

At&t doesn't work here
