the trunk wasn't the only thing that was changing,as the animal grew(evolutionarily)so did the trunk

Really, so am i going to 'evolve' into a what, next step is a spirit creature? Your mutations are pretty much done when you are born. But regardless the mutations are there. Every generation will have mutations not found in the prior generation. So if you take a thousand generations and just what do you think will happen?
