just don't pay. let it go to collection agencies, or whatever.
beside i don't think you can declare bankruptcy until 10 years after you graduate....at least that is what they told me!

Going to a Trustee can maybe get the loan down to just the bare amount and stop anymore interest charges. They aren't going to hound you until you do get a good paying job (I would imagine)

Why are you so quick to thinking you need to declare bankruptcy all of a sudden; most annual university bills would be about 15,000 dollars with all associated costs, its like considering bankruptcy the second you are loaned the money!

There was probably nothing of real value anyway other than the learning that what some see as having value, does not at all mean it has any relevant value to you.

Unsure if student loans are considered government loans or not. If they are, bankruptcy will not help you.

Roughly it works like this...

Declaring bankruptcy is the equivalent of stamping "VOID" across every qualification you have.

No one will trust you and it will dump you irretrievably back into the shit for life and the damge it will do is roughly equivalent of the paragraph above.

been there in your shoes. go to the bank manager and say you can't pay any interest and show them your income. They will understand and help you. You just have to ask for help first which your afraid. whole life ahead of you,don't worry about 15k. You must take the ups and downs in life. How are you going to react going forward when things become much tougher? This is just a small test and you are judged by your actions. your whole soul is choosing between right and wrong with alot of tests and consquencses.

pay your debt.. even if it is just $20 a month towards it, you can then show you are making an effort if you get taken to court over it.
