HEY!!!! the U.S. Military Seeking Deployment in as many as 35 African Countries in 2013
[link to spreadlibertynews.com]

With United States officials itching to occupy another region of the world, they’ve set their sights on Africa. Since the installment of AFRICOM or the United States African Command in 2007 there has been an increased military presence in areas of Africa. Some of the nations include Uganda, Libya and as U.S. officials announced less than a month ago, Mali by next year.

As AntiWar.com reports, “But what they don’t have compared to, say, CENTCOM, is an established collection of nations with US troops stations waiting for wars to break out.” However, the thought of numerous nations being occupied in Africa is about to transform. The AssociatedPress has detailed a plan by the Army to start deploying small units into “as many as 35 African nations”, which is being justified as a part of training against extremists.

What's the point? Very few African countries have any resources of value.

not sure...... but it is interesting -- something we should keep our eyes on.

We could be distracted by other things this year, while this continues to build up outside of our peripheral vision.

see that is glp thinking right there --- you know there is probably truth to that. Something of value has their attention, they wouldnt go for no reason.

Besides, wouldnt this require a whole new type of training? Like in Vietnam days? Our guys are all trained Desert warfare style....

I wonder, rare-Earth minerals perhaps? I know Afghanistan has an absolute hoard of REMs but gaining access to the ore is difficult because it's mostly in remote, Taliban controlled locations.

It's possible an organization like the USGS has discovered another hoard of something like REMs in an easier to access location with easier to deal with locals.

Re: HEY!!!! the U.S. Military Seeking Deployment in as many as 35 African Countries in 2013
it looks like france is doing the same

US, France deploy troops to Central African Republic

[link to www.globalresearch.ca]

little bit more of a story here - rest at link

The US and France are deploying additional troops to the Central African Republic (CAR), as anti-government militias close on the capital, Bangui. The intervention is part of a wider ratcheting up of imperialist military operations across Africa, with Washington and its European allies working to maintain their strategic domination of the continent and control of its natural resources.

The US and France were already conducting military operations in CAR before a rebel offensive threatened to topple the government of President François Bozize.

CAR is one of several central African countries in which at least 100 American Special Forces are active, supposedly pursuing fighters of the Lord’s Resistance Army. President Barack Obama advised Congress on Saturday that he had ordered a “standby security force” of 50 troops to CAR, citing a “deteriorating security situation” that required the withdrawal of US embassy staff and other American citizens from Bangui.

France has likewise intervened, on the basis of protecting its 1,200 citizens in the country. After maintaining soldiers in CAR on a near continuous basis since granting formal independence to its former colony in 1960, Paris has in recent days boosted its previously existing 250-troop deployment to nearly 600.

Another 500 foreign troops deployed by the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), mostly from neighbouring Chad, are also in the country. The Chadian government has pledged to send another 2,000 troops to support the CAR government.

President Bozize’s administration this month lost control over much of CAR. Seleka (“alliance” in the Sango national language), a loose coalition of anti-government militias, has seized towns across the country’s north and east and is reportedly within 75 kilometres of the capital. Seleka accuses the government of reneging on 2007-2008 peace agreements mandating payments to rebel guerrillas and their integration into the national army.

Some residents of Bangui, population 600,000, are fleeing in fear of a rebel offensive, while the price of basic foodstuffs has reportedly risen by more than 25 percent. The government has imposed a night-time curfew that is reportedly being enforced by young people armed with machetes at makeshift barricades erected across the city’s main roads.

CAR is one of the most desperately impoverished countries in the world. Life expectancy is just 50 years, only three other countries have a worse infant mortality and maternal mortality rate, and the majority of CAR’s 4.5 million people survive through subsistence agriculture. The stark contrast between the country’s extreme poverty and its significant natural wealth—including diamonds, gold, uranium, timber, and oil—reflects both the devastating legacy of colonial rule and ongoing imperialist oppression.

Washington has seized on the crisis to further extend its military operations in Africa. The CAR deployment comes just days after the US military announced that a dedicated army brigade, with about 3,500 troops, would carry out continuous activities across the continent. The newly created brigade is a component of Obama’s drive to ramp up the Pentagon’s Africa Command (AFRICOM), which was first created in 2007.

The only reason the troops are being deployed overseas now is to ensure there is little as possible highly trained military here at home when the illegal confiscation and roundups begin. It is so fucking obvious they may as well just say it on the news. It is actually becoming funny at how eir plans are so obvious and out in the open. They can not afford to have military veterans here in the homeland when they impliment their plans.

Not true, the Jews harvest vast sums of gold and diamonds in African nations, they own all the mine fields (the DeBeers, Rothschilds, etc.) and pay the locals dirt cheap labor to mine them.

Perhaps the Jews need US troops to continue to rape the resources of the continent. Africa has a wealth of resources yet unexploited, mainly because the regimes are so unstable.

The Jews tried to kill off the indigenous blacks in Africa with disease, famine, and fomented revolutions. And they stop any aid to Africa of any real value to keep it poor, destitute, and servile. Sadly, "Whites" get blamed for this when in reality it is white "Jews" that are doing it. Just like Black slavery was the work of white "Jews," but only European-type whites get the blame for slavery. The guilty "Jews" hide in the "victim" category.

However, US troops would be beneficial to pacify the locals so the Jews can continue to amass the fortunes of the world. That's what this is all about--the "Jew" and his god, money.

The US President wants the military in Africa because Al Qaeda is getting stronger in Africa. They have now carved out a stronghold in Mali. Obama wants to make sure that Al Qaeda has a better chance of getting more holds. If the military goes in, it won't take long before Al Qaeda starts more terror bombing to ghet the US out. This, of course will only result in more support for Al Qaeda.

You are doing this because it is very accepted now that Africa will soon become the world’s breadbasket. Gaddafi was close to turning Libya into something like your Kansas as massive water reserves are all over under the Sahara. Not to mention that the US gets a large amount of oil from Nigeria and Angola.
The better revolutions usually start in the countryside. In your US revolution the port cities remained Tory until the end. Mao took the Chinese countryside first and attacked the coast at the end.
Your battle plan here is to hold the ports at all costs. Let the fires in the center just burn out. This is why your RRF force, backup for your SEALIFT command, is being activated. A vast merchant vessel force must be on the ready for the logistics of protecting a number of ports at once.
This is a natural development and on the whole not bad. What starts looking like centuries of attrition will by necessity do a collective world good.

To get them out of the country so they can't defend the citizens when the crunch comes.

Once they kill off all the locals in most African Nations and the wildlife the tractors can start to plough virgin crop land.

Wouldnt this require a whole new style of combat training though?
