I'm a STNG fan and when I was younger I used to write my own episodes. Any body that watched any 80's sci-fi/horror is immune to gruesome visuals...feel free to show it off. LEARN HOW TO BE KIND OR BE LEFT BEHIND. OXOXO |

It was not until I came to this forum last week that I remembered a plot for one episode that entailed the death of a whole crew on board a ship called the U.S.S Sandy Hook under command of Captain Lancer. The plot was about the captain being ordered to kill the entire crew by order of the federation as they were ill with a radioactive virus that threatened earth should they return. The enterprise finds the sandy hook with the entire crew dead in the hanger and the mystery begins. We were told to pull the episode because the network thought it was too grusome for family viewing. The storyboards still exist and probably the scripts. I'm thinking that it's just a bizare coincidence but had to share this with the forum given the nature of recent events in sandy hook. Okie User ID: 31482819 United States 01/04/2013 09:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is bullshit. OP apparently wasn't aware that TNG was NOT a network show. It was strictly syndication, as was DS9, meaning that the producers sold the show to various markets and channels to broadcast at whatever times and days the buyers chose. There was no network affiliations nor oversight of the production whatsoever. For anyone who doesn't remember this fact, or isn't a Trekker and know it already, it's very easily verifiable.
