That's the truth...I homeschool and although I'm really happy with our choices and routines it can definitely be a tightrope act around here. Our kids have responsibilities and work hard, of course, but there are certain things that a child should never, ever have to worry about, namely food, shelter, love and security.

Always thought it was silly, especially to give it just because you disagree with someone's opinion, they made you mad because of how they think, or in my case, made a maybe-not-so-funny joke about giving away membership.

Giving bad karma for those things just seems to run contrary to what GLP is supposed to be about, freely sharing information and expressing opinions that maybe aren't shared by the society at large, and/or are not popular, and/or may even be offensive to some in certain situations. 'Tis free speech and 'tis glorious.

I'm not as sweet. I have given karma, more green than red but I do give it and I think it's a good thing. It definitely helps others to know exactly who they are dealing with.
