Quoting: 300 30030895 Jeez, not always and not for the reasons you think. Sure, some transparent scammers which get called out. I have an appointment to steal some cheesy wedges from a kitteh now. I don't really need one, I mean I could pay for one..I just felt slighted that V called out the beggars and ruined my chance to mooch in the future. That said, I do feel bad when someone posts a thread saying they're hungry. You never know if they're being truthful or not but it still bothers me. No one should have to go online to beg for food. I agree. I'm a cynical bitch but seeing/hearing about people who are hungry, especially children, really bothers me. You're trying to be heard above the industrial fan of black & white thinkers(?)/feelers. If you've got little ones life becomes ridiculously complicated like being caught in a spiderweb. Few understand the gymnmastics involved getting through the day. When such a person has small relief from anxiety & worry it is a pleasure to see that. I don't vote anymore btw. I come from a family of cast iron republicans however. That's the truth...I homeschool and although I'm really happy with our choices and routines it can definitely be a tightrope act around here. Our kids have responsibilities and work hard, of course, but there are certain things that a child should never, ever have to worry about, namely food, shelter, love and security. I'm a registered libertarian and I'm always having to defend my political beliefs to my neo-con extended family. I keep my Ron Paul bumper sticker on my vehicle because it's the equivalent of poking at 'em with a stick, lol. I don't know where you get your delusions, laser brain. |

Quoting: KonspiracyKitty Or maybe it wasn't you, but thanks for the negative karma whoever. =P Sheesh people. Not me. I never give negative karma. Oh okay. That's good to hear, I don't give bad karma either (no matter how much I've wanted to, and believe me I have sometimes!) but I don't know many others who don't give negatives. Good karma for you! :) Always thought it was silly, especially to give it just because you disagree with someone's opinion, they made you mad because of how they think, or in my case, made a maybe-not-so-funny joke about giving away membership. Giving bad karma for those things just seems to run contrary to what GLP is supposed to be about, freely sharing information and expressing opinions that maybe aren't shared by the society at large, and/or are not popular, and/or may even be offensive to some in certain situations. 'Tis free speech and 'tis glorious. Anyway /rant off. Bye-bye! :) |

I have given karma, more green than red but I do give it and I think it's a good thing. It definitely helps others to know exactly who they are dealing with. I sign my name to the red I give. And the LORD spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it. I am an evil giraffe, and I shall eat more leaves from this tree than perhaps I should, so that other giraffes may die. |
