The problem of understanding stems from the word "GOD"
The word that is used as GOD is the hebrew word "ELOHIM"

ELOHIM is a plural word

so we take is by steps.. first to genesis

Genesis 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness

If you go by the traditional understanding of the word GOD it doesnt make sense..the "let us" part , but if you use the original hebrew word ELOHIM it makes sense because elohim is a plural word

Genesis 1:26
And ELOHIM said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness

again you have to be careful with the word GOD in its english form.

Who we know as the CREATOR is Jesus the messiah

John 1

1 In the beginning was the Word(JESUS), and the Word (JESUS)was with God(ELOHIM), and the Word (JESUS)was God(ELOHIM).

2 The same (JESUS) was in the beginning with God (ELOHIM).

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Everything that was created was created for JESUS CHRIST AND THROUGH JESUS CHRIST.

JESUS CHRIST IS WHAT WE WOULD CALL THE "CREATOR"
So Jesus christ is ELOHIM.
but Jesus christ is NOT THE FATHER , He is the second person in ELOHIM.

And that is why JESUS came down and died for us , because he loves his CREATION..

Not quite correct.
There are THREE "gods" in the first two chapters of Genesis.

The CREATOR
The "Lord God"... the group of them
and the "Lord"...the overseer. The blood sacrifice was to please the OVERSEER. The guy people call Jesus (not his real name) hated the blood sacrifice.

The "Christian Bible"..and ALL versions of it, are based upon the work of Constantine and his 60 pagan priests that he made the bishops of the Roman Catholic Church.

When you find out the TRUTH, it will shake you to the core.

Elohim means "mighty ones"

in Genesis, the reference is to the angels who are the "workers" of God

they are in the image of God and so are we

the Bible describes a long process---the process of making angels

"MIGHTY ONE"...not mighty ones . Dont twist things to your liking

Sorry, but you are wrong

it is plural in the Hebrew

to make this as simple as possible, have a look in your Strong's Concordance

the word translated "God" in Genesis 1:1 is H430

the word elohyim is a masculine noun and the plural of H433 (Eloah)

if you have studied any Hebrew, you would know that "-im" is a plural form of the word

Mighty ones

Here is Strong's outline of Biblical use of the word:

1) (plural)
a) rulers, judges
b) divine ones
c) angels
d) gods

2) (plural intensive - singular meaning)
a) god, goddess
b) godlike one
c) works or special possessions of God
d) the (true) God
e) God
