Fuck Hobby Lobby. I hope they go bankrupt.

Corporate beliefs and opinions shouldn't dictate employees medical decisions.

If your employer is a Scientologist should he be able to deny psychiatric coverage? If your employer is a Jehova Witness (god forbid) then should they be able to deny you a blood transfusion? Mormans could refuse to cover medications with alcohol in them.

These corporate religious pigs aren't defying Obama. They are defying basic civil rights!

another do

No company has a moral obligation to do anything other than to pay according to whatever is agreed to with that particular employee. Health "care" is NOT a right, nor a privilege. It's something we contract for and pay for - if we choose. The customer is king, and that's that.

I believe in abortion, but I have no obligation to pay for it, unless it's for someone I choose to do so for. I'll patronize HL tomorrow if they have anything I want, as it's too late today. I'll go out of my way to support THEIR RIGHT to run their business as they see fit. All employees have the right to leave if they choose to.

You make a good point that employees have the right to strike if they don't like the policies. Employees have to take matters into their own hands so that the employer doesn't have a choice.

I work for a unionized fortune 100 company with full part-time benefits that simply unrivaled even in a full-time occupation. The company doesn't have a choice and that's the way it should be. If they had a choice we'd practically be slaves. If a fortune 100 company that employs 400,000 can do it and be that successful, other companies should be taking a lesson from us.

The customer is king and it starts with taking care of the employees. If the employees feel like wage slaves what will motivate them to be dedicated to the company?

I agree with you about the customer being king, but I disagree with you that you should bully your own employer. What a bunch of overspoiled, pompus brats we have become. An employer only has to pay you a wage. They provide the job, meaning "A need" and you fulfill that need by working, and then you collect a wage.

Attitudes like that will be reasons that America needs a complete wake-up call. They don't "owe" you anything but a wage.
