What do deer like to eat?

They eat oats - just like the song says. The same for mares.

Lambs, on the other hand, eat ivy.

Buy a bale of hay, or a bag of alfalfa pellets like rabbit food. It is more natural for them.

No, I live about 3 miles inside of the city limits. There is city all around me. However, Edmonton has alot of winding ravines where the deer walk in and can walk deep into the city along the ravines.
After I finish my ice cream I'm going to feed the deer....

Deer like to eat anything in my garden.

Went out to feed them but the deer were not up from the ravine just yet. I took an apple, a container of wheat, and a bag of cheezies. I left the apple and wheat but ate the cheezies.
I lead an exciting life on Saturday nights, eh?

The bushes are their natural browse. Fruits and grains have been introduced by humans, much to the peril of the deer (their digestive systems are built for woody textured browse.) The best idea? don't feed them.

They say don't feed cats milk, but I let my cat sip milk about 3 or 4 times a year. Does no harm in small amounts. I doubt apples will kill the deer if given periodically.

I would put apples out if it would kill the deer. They are disgusting pests around here. Tick and disease carrying bags of stupid.

Don't they look so stupid laying on the side of the road with their legs stuck up in the air? They're stupid, stupid beasts. Overpopulated, too.
