Thank you for sharing your perspective, I share your thoughts and your assertions. I do believe that what has been sowed will now be reaped, whether that be good seed or bad. As any good farmer knows, it is not wise to ruin the seeds that have taken well in order to rid the garden of it's weeds and thorns. The farmer waits until the harvest is ready to be taken in and he harvests everything, then sifts out what has not taken root or flourished. So it is with God's children.

YOU are the harvester, as am I.

Take what you find good in my seed and put them in YOUR barn.

What YOU do not find of worth, burn with the tares.

This is what is happening right now.

We have much work ahead of us, and the trials we will face will be formidable. It is important to remember that our heavenly Father is our strength, against which nothing of evil will prevail. We must go where the spirit leads us, and continue the tasks our Father has set for us to accomplish.

That's a hell of a burden you have around your neck.

Remember that it is the Heavenly Father that is doing everything!

Your burden should rest in his hands.

Let him have it and you will become so light you soar to the Heavens.

Thank you, brother. I saw that you spent some time in the Marine Corps, what job did you do while you were in?

For a time I was supply and logistics.

Then for a time as a Cryogenics Technician.

That is one who separates oxygen and nitrogen from atmospheric gases and converts them to liquid for bulk storage.

I saw that you did 14 years, were you a SSgt or GySgt when you got out?

SSgt selected for GySgt, and it was 14 years.

But that was another life ago, and I have already told the story of that life in my previous book.

It really is a fun little treasure hunt.

As a riddle, this is a catch 22 situation. If You claim I am the Truth then that would make you the liar...BUT You would have had to have told the truth, so that would then make You the Truth which again makes You the liar because only one of us is the Truth. (This is if one of us MUST be the truth and the other MUST be a liar. If not: WE ARE BOTH THE LIARS ;)

I too have spent some considerable time in the Marine Corps. I enlisted in 2000 and worked on the aviation side as an Operations Specialist. I mostly spent my time with MWSS-272 in New River from 2001 to 2004, during which I deployed with them to Kuwait in support of Operations Enduring Freedom/Iraqi Freedom in 2003. I was accepted to a commissioning program in 2004, attended college, and was commissioned as a Lieutenant in 2007. I am now a Captain, stationed in Okinawa, Japan - awaiting to be discharged in the near future, possibly as soon as the end of this month or next month.

The Marine Corps has been very educational for me, as I have traveled many places, met a great number of amazing people, and have tried very hard to improve myself. With that being said, this has been the most stressful 12 years of my life, and it has taken it's toll on my wife and children. It is no secret that the military is no place to try and raise a family, and if there are those who manage to be successful at it, they are much better and stronger than I have been.

Thankfully, I still have my wife and kids with me by my side, and my wife has been one of the most amazing women I have ever met to withstand the enormous amount of stress and turmoil throughout these many years and stay by my side. I do not know what awaits me in the civilian sector, but I fear nothing with my family by my side, and love and my heavenly Father within my heart :-)

Sounds like you learned a lot through the years. Also you having a understanding wife to live through this with you is a blessing. Hope you find everything you desire in civilian life :)

Thank you so much, and you are correct - my wife is an amazing woman, I do not know what I did to deserve someone so incredible. She has truly sustained me, and I am lucky to have her. Thank you for your kind words, I wish the best for you as well :-)

Yes it is - I remember working a lot with you guys on New River and elsewhere.

I wanted to ask you, what do you believe is that last true church of Christ on earth? There are countless religions that claim to be, but they all seem to have some fallibility associated with them, which makes sense as they are the creation of man who is fallible. I believe that the last true church of Christ on earth is not one of religion, but is the church of the heart, and it's members are those who seek our Heavenly Father in earnest through thoughtful meditation and prayer, and those who live their lives the best way they can according to Christ's teachings.

The TRUE Church of Christ is not found in a building made with human hands.

It is the heart of the true believer in his word.

You have hit the nail on the head, my friend. This is one of the biggest reasons I am leaving the Corps. The deployments and time away from both my wife and children have taken an enormous toll on them, and I want that to end. I see the pain and loneliness that has caused all of us, and when I am with them, I feel like I am experiencing heaven on earth.

I want to move on in my life by allowing God into my family, and I want to make them happy. I love them with every fiber of my being, and I feel closest to God when I am with them. They inspire me to be a better man, and I find purpose and meaning when I can see that I make them happy as well.

I have been searching for a religion or spiritual following to help strengthen my family, and to a certain extent, I have found that in the Catholic faith. However, I do feel that some of the questions I have cannot be answered there, and I continue to search for what feels right in my heart.

Never forget the OMNIPRESENT nature of the LORD,

for he is the spirit of LIFE in all that Lives.

Love everyone as if he himself was watching you,

and you will need no institution made by Man.
