We all need to be validated at some point or another in order to know we are following the right path. The question is who we seek validation from, because when you speak truth, it is undeniable. Therefore, those who would deny you are unwelcoming to the truth in their hearts. I am glad that you have come here, because I believe this place is a beacon of truth, since any information posted here is thoroughly vetted with logic and reason. Would you agree? Quoting: Rising Son Understand that I am not seeking validation. I do not need validation. I have come to justify the LORD, The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Oh, and everyone will come to the Truth. You will see. Last Edited by IAMIAM on 01/09/2013 05:15 AM |
Rising Son User ID: 31269856 Japan 01/09/2013 05:19 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I would like to ask you a question about Jesus Christ, if you might indulge me. I am curious to hear what your perspective is. Quoting: Rising Son Most, if not all Christians believe that Jesus Christ lived a sinless life. This is not to say that he did not take our sins upon Himself, because He did, but those sins were not of His doing. What perplexes me is the idea that Jesus Christ can be thought of as experiencing the human condition in all that it entails, without ever having sinned Himself. An essential part of our human experience is failure, that surrender to the temptation of sin in order to fully experience what it feels like to fall. We as humans must experience this to know what guilt feels like, and to seek forgiveness for our wrongs. Otherwise, we would have no way to differentiate between what is right and what is wrong, and to learn from our life mistakes. This is how we grow to be better people, and to live closer to God's path for us. So my question to you is this: how could Jesus Christ have fully experienced the effect of humanity without undergoing the feeling of guilt for having sinned Himself? Jesus is sinless because he fulfilled the word of the Father rather than do his own will. He chose to fulfill that part of scripture as a bridge builder for everyone else. He did it in all honor and Glory to the father of creation. It does not matter what Jesus did in his life. He eventually returned to the father, and accepted the greatest burden. However, as marvelous as this sacrifice was, his message was Greater. YOU are Sons of the Father and his arms are open to all who will come. With just an atom of faith, the LORD will move the universe for you. All that is asked in return is that you invest what is given into mankind. Be Fruitful! Bear in mind that prophecies come about from disbelief. When a Man moves away from the LORD, he raises up Prophets as a demonstration of his presence. The greater the disbelief, the greater the sacrifice. How great was the disbelief in the days of Jesus? How great is the disbelief in this day? Thank you for sharing your perspective, I share your thoughts and your assertions. I do believe that what has been sowed will now be reaped, whether that be good seed or bad. As any good farmer knows, it is not wise to ruin the seeds that have taken well in order to rid the garden of it's weeds and thorns. The farmer waits until the harvest is ready to be taken in and he harvests everything, then sifts out what has not taken root or flourished. So it is with God's children. "Be still, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10 Truth needs no validation because it is self-evident and undeniable. Therefore, anything that requires validation to be realized or justified as truth must contain at least some degree of falsehood. Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] |

Once you are I to I, I give you this riddle: Before the unseen observer I swear this day, That one of us standing here is the Truth. I say this Man is the Truth before the Heavenly throne. Now tell me my friend. Am I a liar or the truth? As a riddle, this is a catch 22 situation. If You claim I am the Truth then that would make you the liar...BUT You would have had to have told the truth, so that would then make You the Truth which again makes You the liar because only one of us is the Truth. If your interested, you might consider going down the ole rabbit hole. I too have spent some considerable time in the Marine Corps. I enlisted in 2000 and worked on the aviation side as an Operations Specialist. I mostly spent my time with MWSS-272 in New River from 2001 to 2004, during which I deployed with them to Kuwait in support of Operations Enduring Freedom/Iraqi Freedom in 2003. I was accepted to a commissioning program in 2004, attended college, and was commissioned as a Lieutenant in 2007. I am now a Captain, stationed in Okinawa, Japan - awaiting to be discharged in the near future, possibly as soon as the end of this month or next month. The Marine Corps has been very educational for me, as I have traveled many places, met a great number of amazing people, and have tried very hard to improve myself. With that being said, this has been the most stressful 12 years of my life, and it has taken it's toll on my wife and children. It is no secret that the military is no place to try and raise a family, and if there are those who manage to be successful at it, they are much better and stronger than I have been. Thankfully, I still have my wife and kids with me by my side, and my wife has been one of the most amazing women I have ever met to withstand the enormous amount of stress and turmoil throughout these many years and stay by my side. I do not know what awaits me in the civilian sector, but I fear nothing with my family by my side, and love and my heavenly Father within my heart :-) Last Edited by Rising Son on 01/09/2013 09:44 AM "Be still, and know that I am God." There are countless religions that claim to be, but they all seem to have some fallibility associated with them, which makes sense as they are the creation of man who is fallible. I believe that the last true church of Christ on earth is not one of religion, but is the church of the heart, and it's members are those who seek our Heavenly Father in earnest through thoughtful meditation and prayer, and those who live their lives the best way they can according to Christ's teachings.
