If you desire to call my brother and I conspirators and charge us with spewing falsehoods, then please do so openly without the protection of speaking in generalities. If that is what you are in fact doing (and I do not want to assume), can you point to any facet of this thread that is a falsehood? Further, can you show how my brother and I intend to conspire against others?

I apologize, I did not take the time to read your exchange with him earlier to realize that. In fact, I wasn't sure what he was confessing at the time, but it makes sense now. Thank you for that.

However, my memory is not so good.

I have let go of the past and now live in the moment.

I see past the flesh and only see spirit. So faces, they are all the same to me.

Your spirit now, is not what it was then, either.

Brother, I am at an in-pass, and I am no longer certain that I am whom we have been discussing here, that I am the Truth. I am a sinner, and I have been sinning my entire life. My life up to this point has been far from perfect, and has been anything but perfect within the past year or so.

I have suffered from addiction to alcohol, I have abused prescription and OTC medication, I have been unfaithful to my wife, and I have been thoughtless and selfish for a long time. These are not the ways of the Truth, and they are certainly not indicative of a man of God.

I have struggled greatly in my life, and I am largely to blame for my own struggles. I do not know how or why I was led to this website, what inspired me to write like I do, and what led me to your thread aside from this: I wanted to be Christ-like in everything I do after falling very hard within the past year, and I think that this has caused me to develop a psychosis in which I think I AM the Christ.

Please help me to understand this. I am having doubts as to who I am, and I am not certain I am the one you have sought, only that I want to be, nothing more.

What if, you were Christ-like, among others that were Christ-like? After all, it sounds to me like you are merely taking His word unto yourself, no?

I agree, and I cannot help but think this is all that is occurring here. All Christians should desire to be Christ-like, but far be it for any of us, most of all me, to say that I AM Christ. I am not certain how the Son of God could be allowed to sin, and that is why I am not certain I am He. Thank you for helping me seek out the Truth, my friend.

Do you know what an "avatar" is?

For example... if you were a Hindu, then you might call yourself an avatar of a God. So, perhaps in at least one sense of the word, you are correct to refer to yourself as Christ Himself, cause really, once you've accepted His word, there is little further one can go.

Regarding Sin, it is merely the storm we must weather. Sin is merely the taking of our own selfish needs too far, yes?

I understand, in that my body has accepted the spirit of Christ, and has become Christ in doing so. However, how could a body that has sinned be worthy of the spirit of Jesus Christ? Why would God choose a fallen soul like mine to use as an instrument to bring back His Son in the flesh?

Perhaps you ought to give your sins some thought. You can repent them, so you will... yes?

Yes, I have repented them for some time now, and I have very much sought God's forgiveness for them, as well as the forgiveness of those whom I have hurt in the process of sinning. While I have not returned to these sins, I cannot forget that how I sinned in the past, and how I tainted and made impure this body and soul by doing so.
