why do most woman not shower in the morning and only wash there hair once in awhile

They rarely wash their hair to keep it from drying out. It's a disgusting habit if you ask me. Just use some damn conditioner and shower like a human being WOMAN!

I wash hair every 3 days my hair gets dried out and conditioner makes it oily most products have lots of chemicals even a hair dresser will tell you when you have long hair washing everyday can cause damage i bathe at night i like to sleep in

I couldn't deal with that very well. I can only respond for me, but my hair gets washed every day, and it is long, some hair products are better than others, I use shampoos that don't strip the hair. Actually, my favorite is Organix shampoo and conditioner, in the blue bottle. I shower in the morning, every day, unless I'm ill or something and confined to bed. Sometimes shower twice in the summer if it's ridiculously hot outside. That's all I can say!

I shower and wash my hair every morning. Sometimes twice a day. I'm pretty sure all my friends do as well, I could tell if they didn't.

I'm curious to know how you came to the conclusion that most don't shower daily? Women you've lived with?

Lol I can't believe this, I don't know any woman who does not shower every day and wash her hair. In the summer I take two showers, my husband sometimes in the summer will take 3.

Maybe they have some sort of hairstyle that they don't want to mess up or something, maybe they flatiron their hair and it's normally curly, so it takes a long time and they would rather not do it every day?

Yup I think that is the case sometimes. But they also told me about the dryness, and how their hair stylists told them to not wash in order to keep their hair "healthy". They would skip 2-3 days.

It has a funky smell...but it also smells like them, so it's unique, and it can be a weird sort of turn on (I was dating two of the girls that told me this, at the time)

Mother Nature knew what she was doing, I'm sure there probably is some sort of pheromone thing going on with the hair if you don't wash it for a few days, and it's probably not that bad, but our culture is just used to things smelling a certain way.

Yep, I know a lot of hairdressers say that, the dryness thing. But, I think it's because we put our hair through a lot, sometimes. I've really found more than anything that blowdrying is what can damage a woman's hair the most, even if you use a serum with it. I try to air-dry as much as possible, and my hair is usually happy for it. And, I only condition from about six inches from my roots, down, natural hair oils near the top of the hair should not need any conditioning.

My wife and I of 30 years, have showered together almost every night. Sometimes for fun, during or after (HEHE)!! But sometimes she will soak in a tub, and I will always shower, sometimes, 2 times a day. She is the cleanest woman I know.
