While I believe firmly in extra terrestrial life, I'm not so certain that they brought life to earth, or had much of a hand in the evolution of life here. My biggest problem with the E.T. origins theory is the same one I have with the hand of God theory, and that is this: Why, what was the point?

Some sort of science project? Set life in motion on this planet, sit back and have a good laugh at what the sentient beings get up to, come down from time to time to give anal probes in trailer parks?(j/k on the probe bit god is against anal sex).

But then again , something had to kick start the whole shooting match, and aliens are just as likely a source as God. But that brings another question to mind; if aliens created us, who, or what created them?
