Ted Cruz is the local Tea Party Candidate. He was voted into office for a reason. I just hope he sticks to his guns and isn't corrupted by Washington.

Ted Cruz defeated Texas Lt Gov David Dewhurst, a RINO, for his party's nomination and won primarily on this issue.

This, and the fact that he strongly supports adherence to the Constitution got him elected.

Dewhurst screwed himself, when he showed his true colors. ie. TSA. He's still planning to run for Governor when Perry steps down though, so we can't let people forget what he did.

Before the election Cruz wiki information was proud to display that Obama was affiliated as a Commrad. It is no longer on the page. I kinda felt at the time I read it that it would be a big oops to have on a wiki page before an election.

I would like to hope someone out there is good, trying and fighting for us. I tend to think they are more or less just fighting for themselves. Therefore more of the same "Hope and Change", "Forward" slogan stuff with a mess of diversion and bait and switch.
