Do people here really have a problem believing he was wearing ear plugs of all things? Guns are loud, and wearing ear plugs helps. Is it so strange that a man with a mission to kill wore them? It's not like they're some rare super hard to get thing, they're just foam that you put in your ears...

The questions here are posed by people who are obviously ignorant of the blast a full power 9mm produces. Now that we know he only used the 9mms (or so they're saying and not the bushmaster), I've fire 1000s of 9mm rounds from handguns with anything from a 3" barrel to a 5" barrel. I've fired them outside, inside and under roof.

The 9mm is really not a very "hot round". Compared, say, to a 357 Magnum, its actually less than half the round. But, its still loud enough to hurt your ears. Even outside, in the wrong position (firing past a porch column that would reflect a little of the blast back at you) it ban be painful. I mean, really, like, stinging hurt in your eardrums. ...and inside, well, its quite painful.

Because all these media dumbasses don't know jack shit about guns, they question this. BTW, you could definately hear kids screams, even with earplugs in. We talk to each other on the range all the time with them in. Duh!

The media is simply showing its abundant ignorance with the questions they ask.

A Professional hitman.. (the real shooter) would automatically have worn ear plugs. He would need his hearing after he was done killing. He would also do it automatically no different then putting his shoes on before going outside.

We have been TOLD to believe Adam FOUND his mothers MILITARY style arsenal (yeah, sure mom was a prepper, in her million dollar house). If he had just FOUND the guns, then what did he use at the shooting range... not that i have even heard he went to a shooting range?
If he did go to a shooting range, then why isnt the owner being charged with allowing a mental patient to practice mass murder?

2nd... No one has shown anyone confirmation that his mother actually owned a weapon.


3rd... He is said to have busted his computer before he left to kill innocent people, with his mothers guns in his mothers car. Why? Everything he is suppose to have used leads a flaming trail to his mother, why would he care what was on the computer if he was about to expire himself? Duh?
Also, it is almost impossible to just "bust" a computer and still keep the fucking feds from gaining access to the hard drive! He would have had to microwave that fucker, sink it in water, and plow a neodymium magnet across it for an hour in order to keep those bastards from reading his hard drive.

Well of course all the cars match , they are the cars of the STAFF who turn up everyday to work. The higher ups usually having their own designated car space that they park in EVERY DAY.

I doubt education staff could afford to change their cars every couple of months.

Just set the earplug issue aside for a minute and look at the quote and THINK.

Armed with hundreds of bullets it says. They also told us the two pistols, and apparently a rifle? Or did they discard that one? I can't keep up. Anyway, add a vest, the clips.

Put it all on this "rail-thin 20-year old".

Let's have a mock trial. We'll use a volunteer of similar proportions to those attributed to Lanza's. Then we'll outfit him with all the aforementioned accoutrements.

Then I'd instruct him to climb through a simulated shot- out door.
