Gun permit for convicted felon | |

I was charged with 3rd degree burglary when I was 16 yrs old, and was sentenced to 1 - 4 years in prison. I am now 36 yrs old and want to exercise my 2nd amendment rights...any advice on how to become a legal gun owner in NYS as a convicted felon. I am now married with a good paying job, and great children, and hav'nt been in any trouble with the law in over a decade. And BTW I did not get a youthful offender status even though I was only 16....Any advice would be very much appreciated  |

If you got brass and plan on shooting, make sure you wear gloves while loading; or just retain your brass with like a Saturday Night Special 38. Other than that, I would imagine that they are going for a full press soon, so who cares about their system of deceit. |
