Are you defining the term reconciling? reconciling present participle of rec·on·cile (Verb)
Verb
1.Restore friendly relations between: "she wanted to be reconciled with her father".
2.Cause to coexist in harmony; make or show to be compatible.
~Webster I used that in the context in the process between making sense between logic and emotion...reconciling the two...  i`m hovering over this the notion to reconcile could never exist if experience of failure does not already exist i see no other sequence leading to reconcile
