I could do a reading here if you would like...but you may not like what the cards have to say.

Ancestors? How many runes are in your set? What type of cards? Wheel? You mean wheel separate from wheel on cards? What does that look like? I know tarot and some runes...

A standard 52 card deck and some cheap plastic runes. It is surprising what they have to say.

The author went to a reader in London as a child, and the woman frightened him, however she foretold many of the things in his life.

What are the name of a couple of the runes? I like which runes which I think are 6 set or 6 plus because they are simplistic, there is another type more popular, I forget what they are called, I think Nordic or something. I know a bit about normal card reading but the meanings can be different from tarot. Like 6 cups I think and 6 spades for example have different meanings, and of course you don't have majors and minors, so all the cards are equal in a reading (I think) makes it more confusing for me!

Yes, I will be reporting back with the exact book I have.

I'd love to learn so I can freak out my relatives at family gatherings.

I used to use tarot for EVERYTHING, the smallest of things and life happenings so I could "be prepared" for the outcome, what I eventually figured out was that I had way more control on events than I realized, I'd do a reading for an outcome for something, and the cards would point out something that I maybe woudn't have thought of, that in turn, because he cards pointed it out, I took care of, and got the outcome I wanted but wouldn't have had I not pulled the cards.

How I taught myself was to ask the cards questions about the past, as if they were the future, "what is the outcome for..?" (something that already happened) that way, I learned the language of the cards, and from there, they taught me the above.

I don't think cards have evil, I don't even think magick is good or bad, it just is...

The runes are very interesting to me.

This is ancient knowledge that has been lost due to ignorance and delusion.

Yeah I agree totally, and you find the info, and it clicks inside, like it's something you "used to know", but you realize you never knew it in this lifetime type of thing and you wonder if it was knowledge passed down inside.

The author says to use caution when the cards tell an unpleasant future and you should use discretion when telling the person what they mean.

As for multiple cards of same suit, hearts together signify romance and emotional matters will dominate the future.

If the person is married however, it spells troubled times ahead.
