If it's only from this and the unblocking of certain chapters it doesn't mean that he is pro-something imho coz both EU and Turkey know that there's no chance for all the chapters getting completed.

Hollande is going to Armenia for the Genocide Remembrance Day, he's also supportive of criminalizing Armenian genocide in France but this move usually stops by business interests between the two countries, doesn't strike me as a pro-Turkey dude tbh.

I, since 2008, always believed that we would drag to war with Turkey over the continental shelf issue because of a financial collapse. I was expecting it in 2009 (we were really close), but happens now.

Continental shelf conflict is inevitable at some point, the deposits are known since the late 60's, i'd prefer if we went for it while we were strong and not now, timing is bad imo.
Agreed, always a good tactic to rally the sheep with a national cause. But we should be careful imo, we've been dumped in Smyrna and Cyprus by the allies the last couple of times.

Yes, this time however is different. It'll ultimately lead to a NATO-Russia conflict 'cos the interests in the area are just huge.

Also, don't forget that back in 1996 people didn't want to sacrifice their "well-being" for a... rock. This time, with millions of unemployed and broke (including myself), a war is somehow a "manna that fell from the sky", however brutal it sounds.

Game is huge in the East Med, that's why i don't trust Greek politicians to handle such a situation and lead us in a potential conflict, especially politicians that led the country in the mess it is today with their actions and want to exploit this 'manna' for a possible atonement in the eyes of the Greek people. Dangerous games imo.
