The first 3 years are essential in any child's emotional development. They need a feeling of warmth, safety, while the LEARN to be happy, to overcome difficulties and sadness, learn to love, and accept love.
This seems to be lost somewhere in the past 3-4 generations...meaning that the parents are not able to give them, cus they did not get it from theirs.
Quoting: emerald_glow From what I've seen, Parents are too quick to send their kids to "Day Care", where they don't get what they need, starting problems at a very young age. I have to agree, although in most cases parents have no alternative. They both have to work to make a living...in many countries families get help to raise their children, so one of them can stay home till the child reaches 3 years. It is not charity: the rest of society's best interest.
