Started running again and I'm hungry all the time!
I can't even focus on the craziness of GLP today with my stomach rumbling and I ate just a few hours ago!!!
I turned the big 4-0 and said its time to get fit again.
The energy I have through the day feels like I'm in my 20's.
Love it!!!

You should always carry a McDonald's ready meal around with you while out jogging to stave off the hunger.

and hide it somewhere along your running path...three years from now it will still be ready for you from the preservatives in it... :)

For real though, great job on the running! I am working back up to running, right now just a steady walk/jog, but one of these days I'll be back at it again...nothing beats an exercise induced high and the great nights sleep following it!

Re: Started running again and I'm hungry all the time!
Good job, OP!

You might find yourself changing your eating habits, especially what you eat.

Smaller meals more often, of things that really feed your body nutrition, could work for you.

One of the reasons we get so hungry after a workout is that the food we ate before didn't provide our body with what it needed.

Since I've slowly changed my diet to more vegetable and bean soups, lots of nuts and seeds, some granola and coconut milk, and lots of fruit/vegetables, I eat way, way less than I used to, and have more energy. I do eat meat sometimes, but am limited on that due to cost, and find I don't crave it like I used to. Lots of protein in many kinds of beans, eggs, sardines, etc.

So you can eat potato chips, fries and fast food all day, and still be hungry. It's what you eat, not how much. My grocery and eating out bills have actually decreased! I had to change my buying habits, because food was going to waste in the frig.

Good luck with your running!
