It's the skateboarders that bug me. Makes me want to release the hounds but the hounds are old and slow. Makes me want to release the cats!

agree OP I don't want ANY noise (kids or adults) or kids even riding their bikes in the street. I'm 44 but I want to tell my neighbors to stop shutting their doors so hard. LOL. Definitely sign of age but noting wrong with that.

They are new neighbors they live across from me and I am always afraid when they play outside my 03 mustang is sitting right there in front of my house.

Kids are annoying as shit. But you gotta change your perspective. My kids are young. I try my best to keep them on a tight leash but then it only hurts the kids.

Unless they are some crooked degenerates, just accept the fact that they gotta play. Maybe get them a Nerf bow and arrow. It'll completely enhance their respect for you. My neighbors did that for my kids. Older than dirt. But now my kids worship them and make paintings and stuff for them. Look out for their property and stuff. Make friends with them. It only takes one time and you'll have little security guards looking out for you for free.

Nah. My kids are good kids. Neighbors love them. Unlike most communities, we're pretty tight. And they follow the rules.

the older one gets the quieter we like it however so many in my neighborhood are old hell some are ancient and i long sometimes specially in the summer to hear the sound of children ..if they behave of course

That's what I was thinking :) On my block, there are some kids that ride their bikes in the street, play street hockey and football. They're good kids, I'm more concerned with their safety than the noise. I'm also happy to see kids playing outside without a lot of parental interference and excessive instruction.

Wait till you have kids and a basketball hoop on the side of the house
