I've been on Zoloft for over a year and it has seriously changed my life for the better. They work, just not for everyone which is why you need to work with your doctor to find the right dosage and medicine for you. I think all the horror stories are from people who did not find relief from their particular drug and their actions were just the result of their mental illness.
I've also had to go a week without taking them, it was cold turkey and I had no problems with any withdrawal symptoms.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24209131 Yes they do occasionally work, but remember that SSRIs have been shown by scientific research to be no more effective than placebo. Quoting: pi I have studied Zoloft a lot since i'm on it and have never seen any such study. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24209131 Correct. No study proves a negative. Look at the positive ones. Or don't if zoloft is working for you.
