Anonymous Coward User ID: 31714305 United States 01/07/2013 10:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have been thinking long and hard about this. So please let me try out a theory. The "wealthy" are actually pissed at everyone in first world countries, because ... most people no longer aspire to be like them or have their accouterments. Would you rather spend 2 hours in a "luxury" box watching a yaught race, formula 1, nascar, or a football game? Or would you cruise the 'net with that time? GLP, youtube, pictures of funny cats? Do you, or enough people you know really think 5,000 sq ft. homes with granite counter-tops is impressive? Do you think being like Charles Barkley and playing $2000/hand blackjack games is an adrenaline rush? It is trivially easy to get promiscuous sex, porn, alcohol, drugs. The social safety-net allows you all of these things and having children too! A $30 MP3 player can rival the sound quality and quantity that rich people spent $100,000+ on sound systems and media as recently as 30 years ago. You have the sum total of human knowledge available at your fingertips via the internet. The most elite universities in the world put their lectures and coursework online. For free. Sure, us oldsters bought it hook line and sinker. we are in debt, we still respond to corporate advert campaigns. We will never escape, but the younger generations are a problem. The elite are not going to be able to pass down the hierarchy to their children. Anyone who has studied management theory know that you have to be able to incentivize people with perks to make them work harder. They are running out of dog treats to keep us on a light leash, so they are starting to put the boots on our necks. You have to truly smash the economy and create lots of ridiculous infighting among the plebs to get them back on the only incentive system they know how to run. And they have to be in control. It destroys their soul when they are not in control of the masses. |

If enough people realize they are simply tax cattle abused through media by endless resource and power grabs it creates an issue. Allowing the slaves to choose more specific vocations allows them to yield higher tax products. This Money/Tax game has been going on a long time. Perhaps we've hit a point where mechanization is picking up, or people are becoming too agitated as the prison bars become more visible. Life is on rails. Fuck the Hologram.
