Unfortunately, I think it has more to do with our government using a crisis as an excuse to remove our right to protect ourselves. It's simply a government trying to disarm its citizens. So, don't look for it to make sense. political doublespeak seldom does. And the liberal, who thinks with his heart an not his brain is not skilled in the discernment of truth, nor will his overexercised heart allow it. |

Maybe, but from my observation a lot of the hysteria seems to stem from people objecting to others having something that looks like something the police/military would use. I really dont understand. It seems like an irrational fear of an object simply because they think it looks more dangerous than something else. |

Technically that isnt a lie, at the atomic level the soft drink probably does contain the likes of carbon 14, so it probably is radioactive, as most everything is. Yet peoples perception of the object is distorted by fear and paranoia, and not having the facts or the education to know any better. Is ignorance ever an excuse to pass a law? It concerns me people think it is. I would think education is paramount. I dont know what i am saying here, but it seems to me a lot of these objections are to the guns or the idea of guns, not the people with guns. I don't see firearms as a problem, i see people as a problem. To me a gun is an inert tool, that just sits doing nothing, its like an axe or a spade. Its only dangerous to others when used in a dangerous way. |

Half the crap people want banned is less dangerous than some of the legal shit that nobody cares about. Is it an irrational fear of guns that is causing this debate, or is it more sinister? Guns didnt kill those kids, a bad person killed those kids. |
