Dutch make glow on the dark and heated biker roads. Pretty wild:

The glow on the dark part, or tiny lights powered by the earth, great. BUT, that part about de-icing the roads with geo-thermal pumped water goes a bit far...

I mean, if THEY can DO that, then they can retro-fit all of our houses with FREE warming as well, right?

Sure. It's just pretty expensive.

I can't see using it on roads. It would be too extensive by far.

Exactly. Also, maybe you can get away with it in relatively mild Dutch winters, but try to push a relatively small amount of warmth against mother nature, will generally only make the path more slippery is my guess. (when it is cold enough - and it does get cold here, sometimes)

If it weren't up to Mr Morgan (John Pierpont Morgan, the banker) we would all have had free unlimited energy since early 1900, Nikola Tesla's Wardenclyffe tower was build and almost ready to operate until Morgan found out it would provide the entire world with free energy, his statement was: If i can't get a meter attached to it, i can't make money of it..

To cut things short, welcome to the future in wich we are technologically behind where we could be..

Everything electrical we see and use today is based upon Tesla Patents wich are more then 100 years old and wich he had more then 900 patents worldwide.

He had build a working radio controlled BOAT in 1898, now we use Drones based on the same principle.

Things Tesla invisioned go as far as wireles communication to Mars and beyond, space ships flying using electricity from his Wardenclyffe tower and had Electrical engines without any exhaust whatsoever.

We have been f*cked and its still going strong, we must break the covering-up of this great man and kick some but to the electrical market.

As for the OP, i sure hope they will do make the road markings with glow in the dark substance, it would be awsome to ride a bike at night. :P

Plus Geothermal energy also is nothing new and you can make it at home if you would try, to bad people don't get or believe things if there is the word FREE involved.

Electrical companies also get their energy for free, it only costs a lot to build all the machinery, but in the end the get for free where we pay ourselfs to death for.

/rant off :P
