That thread has 10 + pages of info in it and the only info I wanted from it is the information about the second sunspot. Again this is not what you did.

Helioviewer looks to be showing that area is pretty active. [link to www.helioviewer.org] If they are producing flares up until the point where they become Earth facing, it can't be purely coincidental they dissipate as they rotate around.
