Very important. Located in the same area of the sun as these spots are. So we have over the course of 3 weeks 3 smaller sunspots forming into 2 jupiter sized spots, possibly anyway? I like this idea.

Not the same spot as those spots are no longer there, but could they have joined together and what we are seeing now is the culmination of those spots?

Haha, usually that's about right. These appear to be active sunspots or atleast will be active up until they are Earth facing. Unless the trend is broken that is.

If these flare off as earth facing sunspots that means bad news for our grids/sats. If they group together before becoming earth facing making an EVEN BIGGER spot.. Shit it's like a movie script lol.
