| IssueX User ID: 31654780 01/09/2013 12:38 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I posted this earlier, will repost it for you I've been thinking a lot lately about a friend of mine from NYC, a very successful surgeon who admittedly had a privileged upbringing ..however in the years following 9/11 he began to become more outspoken about the things he thought were wrong, imploring others to do likewise I remember he quoted from the Book of Esther, which I thought was interesting, as he was never the sort ot wear his philosophies or definitely not the Bible on his sleeve, and neither am I, but I think this quote sums up a universal human sentiment here it is Esther 4:14 New International Version (NIV) 14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for [your people] will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish.
