I never understood the concept that the Book of Mormon was written, by the ones who wrote on the plates, for a warning to us in modern times. It not only chronicles the appearance and teaching of Jesus Christ in the Americas, but also speaks of how secret combinations that seek to overthrow the freedoms of all lands infiltrated and eventually overthrew the benevolent governments of their times. We see this happening today.

Heard that Mormons believe that Christs sacrifice only deals with original sin and that people need to shed their own blood for the rest of their sins?

Is that what Mormons practise, have a friend who was a Mormon and apparently Jospeh Smith is greater than Christ to Mormons?

Care to explain?

12/21/12. Was the awakening of the lost tribe of Israel. The Book of Mormon is a guidebook on how to survive the coming apocolypse. You will only understand it if you read it in prayer, faith, and an open heart.
