The Book of Mormon isn't just another witness of Jesus Christ; it's a chronicle of how secret combinations overthrew legitimate governments

I never understood the concept that the Book of Mormon was written, by the ones who wrote on the plates, for a warning to us in modern times. It not only chronicles the appearance and teaching of Jesus Christ in the Americas, but also speaks of how secret combinations that seek to overthrow the freedoms of all lands infiltrated and eventually overthrew the benevolent governments of their times. We see this happening today.
