| Maga User ID: 31810254 01/09/2013 03:14 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I felt that Art sometimes struggled to figure out what questions to ask guests, sometimes dominated the conversations, and at times was rude to callers. However, I supported him on the whole mess when he was being accused of things which were not true and because of it, I got into a fight with Mitch Battros via email over his lies about Art. I have zero respect for Battros. When Noory came along I was impressed by his politeness with callers and the wide variety of guests and topics is fine with me. If Art came back part time that would be okay, but I would rather see Noory be the major host. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 26191271 01/09/2013 05:51 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's not going to be the same thing, ever again. Coast to Coast was groundbreaking and awesome because of the topics it covered, at the time this was all really cool and cutting-edge in the early 90's when the internet was still really small and nobody had yet read up on many conspiracies and paranormal and UFO type stuff. Today we have had a solid 10 years of having lots of conspiracy sites all packed with every conceivable theory and story about aliens and the pyramids. We've all, heard it all. If Art wants to get real, and talk about things he shouldn't be talking about to millions of people he will get himself killed. And that is the only material I would be interested in. But Art strikes me as the type of person who is satisfied with not rocking the boat too much and being able to keep his wealth and his health. With that said even listening to the same old rehashed story about 9/11 being planned or whatever Art Bell makes a better reporter and host than no name. George is the worst, he is so annoying and stupid and the worst interviewer I ever heard. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 551387 01/09/2013 06:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I think that this could work if Art is willing to come back and hit that "lunatic fringe" a little harder than he used to. I don't know that there is a need for such a thing however, as far as that goes. One of the big reasons that the people at GLP don't like George Noorey is that his topics seem tame and watered down to us,e dealing with similar (and edgier) things every single day. It leaves us desensitized to the whole thing. But is there benefit to pushing the average person toward a different way of thinking? Who does it help? Have you, or anyone that you know of, even done better in life, been happier, safer or any other positive things, because of the information that gets bandied around here? Still, that's were I would take a show, if he decided to come back and wanted to be competitive. Perhaps focusing on something a bit more proactive and interactive? So that the audience became part of trying to gather information/ prove or disprove theories and ideas? That might not be workable of course. Just a thought. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 12366656 01/09/2013 07:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | He wanted to. He just simply wanted to. Then he moved to Manilla (to take advantage of the cheap envelopes over there) and low cost of living. Got his Ham-Radio antenna all set up and did whatever retired guys do in Manilla. If he is thinking about comming back to Las Vegas (or even Nye) for that matter, he needs to know the Demographics have changed--it is now like Detroit, or Camden, etc... and is not the same place he left. (Read that it's now a very dangerous place) So, maybe he will come back and do some spots with no name once in a while.....like a double team in big time wrestling. Dual interveiw, to bring out the best in the guest. :-) From the kingdom of Nye, deep within the Nevada Desert (too bad the place is so over run with CRIMINALS!!!) |

The guest sends in the questions they want asked into the producers about a week b4. George will ask 95% scripted and 5% non-scripted and then the callers. Quoting: wordsmith So you are saying that the area has not changed for the worst, like Las Vegas and it is not over run with crime? Your houses have not been rented out under Section-8 to inner city Gang-Banger types who tool around night and day in old Caddilacs with huge booming sterio systems? Your Police Department did not start hiring these same people in droves to patrol the streets? What part of Parump do you live in? Because although not as bad as Las Vegas (due to the houses being spread apart further--ruralish area) I'd definitly put it on my places to be avoided list. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 11922974 01/09/2013 08:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Both Art and Noory have said they would never work on the same program again. There is some bad blood there that most are not aware of. What Art has said is that he would never leave out the possibility he will be back in radio with a new show. There is no doubt he would be the most entertaining nighttime radio host and would put a end to coast to coast's nighttime dominance. I would like to see him come back just so I have something to listen to while working the midnight shift at work. Art will always be the most entertaining radio show host I have heard. |

The only time I listen to coast to coast is on Saturday nights with Wells.. love him! I would welcome Art back in a New York Minute! Noory should have a program called Mr Neighborhoods no name program. He is a very nice man but far too patronizing. |
