Quoting: Star God Scientists have ruled out any possibility of a cataclysmic collision - yet - but there remains a non-negligible chance of the asteroid Apophis smashing into Earth in 2036. When processing astronomical images you must be careful to not over-enhance or else all you're doing is bringing out "detail" of camera noise. Those images already look like they're at the limit of what can be "enhanced." |
