Wow a paid shill goes public and ADMITTS he was paid to shill on GLP

Corporations make BILLIONS of dollars in profits. Countries have TRILLION dollar budgets. Lots of black budget stuff. The oil companies have money coming out their ears and love to shill. So does the nuclear industry.

Yes, you see it all the time on GLP. They are usually on threads, or start threads, on topics of GMO, Flouride, Gun Control, Global Warming,, Social Security, Biopharmaceuticals, etc.

These are topics in which the hiring agency wants to sway public opinion, spread disinformation, and discredit true information. Look up “astroturfing”.
Astroturfing Astroturfing refers to political, advertising or public relations campaigns that are designed to mask the sponsors of the message to give the appearance of coming from a disinterested, grassroots participant.

The topic alone gives you a hint. The Thread OP is telling you ahead that if anyone disagrees or becomes “heated” (emotionally invested”, they are immature, and she also wants to discourage anyone from calling her out. Should anyone become emotional about the topic, she has set up the parameters and can use this to her advantage. “Can we do it, without bashing each other and calling everyone a Shill?

However, once the OP is called out, they will usually abandon the thread, seeing that they cannot accomplish their goals there. They will come back another day, perhaps on another topic. Notice she was recognized early on as a paid or volunteer shill, as the thread received 18 one-stars.

Throughout the thread example, people give detailed feed back which discredits the quotes the OP uses. Notice she never addresses valid points in the feedback, but uses several techniques to control the subject matter and defend her position. I’ve given some post links as examples, but you can find the rest yourself:
--uses the DIVERSION TATCTIC, changing the subject to something else (big Oil)
--picks out the weakest argument among many strong points and tears into that (highlights the other side only)
--subtly demeans or discredits the poster “WOW Issue, YOU GOT SOME ISSUES and one is Reading Comprehension” [link to www.godlikeproductions.com]
--never acknowledges any facts given that discredit her posts
--Continually asks for “proof” while providing none herself when asked
--picks out “worse case scenarios” and incites fear when possible to support theory, using “what ifs” and often using children or other emotional issues to make a point
--tries to show how immature others are and how she is the injured, but righteous party [link to www.godlikeproductions.com]
--looks for HOT BUTTONS

By Hot Button, I mean looks for posters who might respond to an insult or emotional issue. For example, in a thread about Social Security, the Op started out complaining that he had to pay for old people’s social security, but would never see a dime of it. Plus old people lived in the most prosperous times, and are responsible for the mess we are in. He ends saying old people who lived in these times and didn’t save deserve to live with their kids or on the streets, and we should end SS now.

Imagine the responses? It was very emotional. So emotional that everyone was defending the above, and nobody ever thought to point out that our government stole the money workers and employers put in, instead of investing it, which would have actually resulted in an excess of funds. This OP did his job very well. He got many people to take sides, diverted attention from real issues, and used diversion techniques that everyone fell for.

So when you find yourself getting emotional, take a step back. Look for these techniques. Are you being led down the garden path? Have you abandoned logic and begun arguing unimportant issues that are not relative to the main point? Is the OP playing you?

I repeat, no rational person would oppose this thread vigorously EXCEPT a shill.

Of course shills exists. Governments and corporations need to "control" perception - of issues that are important to them. They can't just have people asking questions and developing rational answers to those questions through honest inquiry because the end result would be a fucking change so fast that they would lose their power.

So, anyone who denies shills exist is in fact a shill.

It doesn't really matter if the original story is actually a true account since it certainly describes what probably is the basic SOP for shills.

Check out my threads, I have two on GLP. DO a user Id search for threads and you will easily be able to ascertain that the post started out normally with a lot of GLP interest and was later completely hijacked by disinformation operatives. That's what I call them.

When you win, they ignore you and hope the thread dies. That is hard to do with a pinned thread.

I just love how it's a "theory" when it's pro-CC but a "theory is proven fact(your words,see above) when it benefits you side of the argument. This was the only valid argument made and unfortunately happens all too often on GLP, theories are theories, until needed for evidence, where most will cite them as proven fact.

There is in fact automated response AI in use here. It is generally repetitive and unintelligent personal attacks and you can get them to malfunction if you know how..

When the opinions had on the random interwebs dictate people's support into playing into the schemes that make them BILLIONS AND BILLIONS yes, they must be manipulated. As the billions they put into shilling paves way for the continued revenue they bring in.

If you don't know, "aliensbro", people are starting to put together names and lists of the "TPTB."

My question was to peak their curiosity and maybe get a few more names / organizations on said lists.
