Forget impeachment. The military should go in and arrest the "Commander in Chief" for treason against the citizens of the United States and the Constitution if an EO is issued. Impeachment won't fly in Congress.

The PTB underestimated how further gun infringement would be viewed by the people in Red states. They get most of their polling data and advice from Blue states, where people need the government to take care of them because they themselves cannot.

There will be a "face saving" EO issued, but the changes will be so small that the "people" will not find a sufficient reason to depose their asses at this time. Then they can declare they they have solved the gun issue and can take this out of the spotlight.

If they are really really government stupid,and they issue an EO that actually "requires" the people to do something such as registration, banning of anything currently owned, the answer from the people will be a simple statement that they will not comply.

The PTB will then have to decide what is more important to them. Staying in limited power, or having a bounty on their heads.

The military needs to kick his ass if he does that.
