A "soft sell' to gently reel people in; get them to think they are disclosing in a safe, confidential environment when it is anything but?

Anything but is for real. The Obummercare has such strong strings on doctors, they must comply or not get paid. Fact.

The way I see it, if you give them(your doc) an in-clink of having a gun you can expect a knock on your door, "turn in your guns." in the near future. Registered gun owners and people who say yes will be the first. Probably search every house eventually.

This is an oddball post if I’ve ever seen one. Before final passage of the bill, Harry Reid managed to slip into Obamacare protection for gun owners that prevents the government from collecting any information relating to “lawful ownership or possession of a firearm or ammunition“. This was added, according to CNN, as a “relatively benign way to make sure the National Rifle Association didn’t get involved with this.”

Although the ability of patients to keep their gun ownership details to themselves when going to see a doctor about a stomach ache has been included in the Obamacare bill since 2010, some lawmakers and medical groups are reportedly just now discovering the text.
