Anyone considered that the father jeopardised his 2 months olds safety by engaging in a gun fight after the crook was running away. He was lucky that he hit him, as could you imagine what could happen if the crook just blazed away in return. The 2 month old wouldn't get any older.
He valued his wallet, more than the life of his child.
He wanted to be a hero with a gun, thats why he carries one isn't it.
