Thanks for the correction. Your BBC link is 404'ing. Honestly even if there were only 1 star explosion I think that would be pretty unlikely it would happen on jan 9th.

Yeah fixed the links in the other post. Supernovae can have quite the timespan iirc, so i think it's interesting to note that "the entity" said, that our astronomers will see them on jan 9 (million/billion years later ofcourse, but i cosmosonicboom would take at least the same amount of time as the light to reach us).

Well we do have until the end of July. I really like how he knew that he didn't know the year for sure, and told us that. Cause even with dates it's not easy to make predictions. One of this caliber would've had to have been a guess, and for there to be two of them.. that's just fucking scary.

Now both just discovered supernovae are millions/billions light years away and should pose no danger to us at all. Nonetheless, that is one hell of a coincidence and i'd take the warning serious.

Dr. Astro, come and tell us how non-dangerous this is please.

It's not dangerous in the sense that the supernova exploded, but dangerous in the sense that we may be dealing with new cosmic phenomena in the form of sonic booms.

I believe you're forgetting the cosmic radiation, and other sort of pulses of energies being released.
