Anyway. the synthia venter 35 mins documentary i made. i also made an addendum explaining a few things about the video game Extermination and prometheus movie.
In extermination you are with a group of Marines that goes in Fort Stewart in antartica to investigate a sort of outbreak.
You discover that whatever was released there, use Water as a medium to grow and infect! Its extremly savage and spread really fast. JUST LIKE IN X-FILES IT REACTS TO HIGHER TEMP.
Artic waters are reknown to be EXTREMLY SALTY!
By the end of the game you discover that there is a mad scientist stuck there, and he is the one who raised the temperature so that the virus could spread!
He talks about a chunk of meat that Crash landed earth 60,000 years ago. just before you start the last boss, you see that the spicimen cracks open and a black oily slime goes in the water!Where else we have a oily slime with similar behaviour?

Cow's organs (liver, brain, pancreas, heart) that we harvested to culture the mutated virus began to emit a highly infectious, air-borne by-product. This
by-product was later discovered to be a malformed protein molecule (infectious Prion) and had properties similar to some highly evolved variation of bovine
spongiform encephalopathies (BSE). Unfortunately, we found that this variation was not limited to brain tissue and attacks all organs regardless of species. Many
of the researchers began to undergo severe hemorrhaging - bodies became twisted with bone crushing muscular contractions indicative of cyanide poisoning. We
