OK this is a random thought post...brought about by post by Blitz....THE SALT DOMES Bayou Corne....the salt domes are disappearing...the organism is eating the salt...there is also something unknown being released from the DHW...into the gulf...and "they" say "they" don't know what it is....I'd think the whole of some southern states couild sink right into the water if those salt domes are gone...Amirite???? I just realized you said synthia also needs salt...lots of it...so...then synthia and the organism are both after salt..damn

afaik, there are two versions of the organism ie: a salt water version in the GOM...a freshwater version in Antarctica (think about all the activity and deep drilling into lakes down there)...there is only one thing this organism plans to do, and that is survive..it doesn't care whether we survive..Acolyte has been trying to get that message across for the first 2 of the last 3 years now...so when you take an organism that came here from somewhere...and it is intelligent enough to outsmart a man made technology IE: synthia, well then it seems as though we already lost in the effort to outsmart or control it w/technology...so where does that leave us....perhaps we will end up with a DEEP FREEZE/ICE AGE and that will be what ultimately saves us...

Using the NASA Spitzer Space Telescope, investigators recently conducted a series of observations of this system, in infrared wavelengths. Their research revealed the existence of an enormous shock wave between these galaxies. Such a phenomenon is known among astronomers as a sonic boom.

I think the issue with the term is that it requires an atmosphere to become a true 'sonic' boom.

i.e. the compression wave requires air to be moved faster than the speed of sound, which to us Humans, in an atmospheric environment, is an audible event.

A compression wave, travelling in space has the 'potential' to become a sonic boom, and depending on the frequency, pretty much a host of other effects.

Booms within our upper atmosphere, from such a wave front may indeed be caused by the event described, or something similar, and have been reported quite a lot lately, especially over Northern Lousiana.

Is there a compilation of the channelling at all?
