I think there are members of every race that would and do behave as disgustingly. There are videos of rednecks in the southern USA shooting basking turtles for fun, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. It's true, many people don't care about anything but themselves, their own family, their own tribe, their own kind. They think everything else exists for them alone.
