Sometimes it takes time, and the brain eventually sorts itself out. I am talking about not an individual psychotic attack specifically but the time period of a person's life in which they have psychotic episodes. Raising the consciousness of your body and brain, meditation, and good diet is important. You need to cultivate balance in any form and eventually bodily balance may result. As for how to pull someone out of an attack? Don't know. just look after them and make sure they are safe. |

May need anything from thyroid hormone to an exorcism. Dr. Murray has some interesting views on psychosis [link to recoverynetworktoronto.wordpress.com] in acute psychosis the brain’s ability to decide what is important is interfered with, impairing the ability to filter out what is not important. Being bombarded with so many sensations and experiences, all important, can lead to confusion : why on earth are all these important things happening to me? We live in a time when a lot of important things are happening, and we all feel like immigrants and refugees, even in our own country. |

Obviously, your psychotic becuase of your emotions. Another fact, you are not having sudden relapses, so, you are your emotions. Therefore, what do you think you are? I wont come home if you can't come home. |

Don't starve the brain you must eat to not be sick. 3. Water. Drink plenty of water. 4. Sunshine. When was the last time you sit outside in the sunshine? (bring the dark to light) 5. How dark is the room you spend most of your time in? I bet your windows are covered up to not let in any light. Open those curtains and Let in the sunshine...... 6. Socialize. Call up someone you have not talked to in a while just to see how they are doing. 7. Help a family member or stranger. Focus on someone besides yourself. 8. Don't isolate yourself. If you are alone you don't have anyone to talk to so you have to create someone in your head. This is a sign you are lonely and scared. 9. Learn how to quiet your mind. Learn to meditate! 10. Exercise. 11. What are you afraid of? Face your fears. If it is money then do the steps above. Get better. Then get a job. Any job to get out of the house and back into civilization. You are ready because you are reaching out for help now! 12. Get in a support group. If you don't have friends then visit AA or NA even if you are not an addict. This people are always welcoming to strangers and don't judge because of their history. 13. Learn to quiet your mind. Learn to meditate! 14. Schizophrenic medications are a joke. They only sedate you. If sleep is what you need then cut off all electronics and sleep. But eat first. Exercise. Talk to somebody. Call up someone you have not talked to in a while and talk about old times. They would be happy to hear from you. You don't have to tell them what troubles you are having now. Because if you do what I say in a few weeks you will be better. Meditate until you are relaxed enough to sleep- just like the monks do! |
