I had a 930 slant nose turbo for a few hours once(On loan). Didn't manage to take it on the highway, but I remember it being one of the quickest cars I ever drove.I pulled up to return it and it was idling at about 2500 and the guy asked me if I beat it or not. I denied it, and then he said, no I want to know because I don't really know how to drive. So I took him out in it with me driving and he crapped his pants. haha

Always wanted to take something out there, never got he chance yet. One day.

Nice car. I have always liked vettes. I had a buddy with a ZR1 who turned the key to full power and threw the key out the window.

( It had some kind of an option for full power or economy drive or something along those lines that was operated with a key in the middle console)

I did 95 once in a Dodge full size van doing pickups and deliveries. It felt like 150 in a van. The whole vehicle would pitch over like a boat when you changed lanes. That was frightning.

The van probably had a little more but I was too scared to use it. I was pedal to the metal on a dirt road in a Mazda B200 pickup once too. That was probably 80 with a full lawn spray tank in the back. I went down a hill and left the road at the bottom while going over a bridge. I landed about the middle of the bridge and fishtailed a couple of times. How I ever made it out the other side was a miracle.

Not me personally, but my 68 year-old step-dad got caught on I-94 EB (Macomb county, MI) going 180-something on his Hyabussa (not sure if I am spelling that right). He has a shit-ton of different aftermarket parts on it.

On a side note, his ticket was for WAY less than what it should have been...but he had a good lawyer.

The speed at which I ran away was approximate to her weight in MPH. Don't know the exact figure, but I'm guessing I approached close to 4 digits on foot.
