Sofia. The Bulgarian Interior Ministry and the Bulgarian Red Cross are to mark European 112 Day on 11 February, announced the press center of the former.
105th secondary comprehensive school in Sofia is to host the event. In accordance with a drill the 112 emergency telephone number will receive a call about an explosive device in the building of the school and “injured” pupils. After that volunteers with the Youth Rescue Team at the Bulgarian Red Cross will demonstrate how to provide first aid.
Experts with the 112 national system are to explain how and when you should ask the emergency telephone number for help.
The European 112 Day will be marked also in the cities of Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, Ruse, Kardzhali, Montana and Sliven. This year’s focus is awareness how to use 112 telephone number and how to provide first aid.
11 February is declared European 112 Day in accordance with a tripartite declaration signed by the European Commission, the European Parliament and the Council of the EU in 2009.

The threat was made by telephone to 112. The call made man presented to Y.B. He expressed dissatisfaction with the management of the country and made the threat to the Prime Minister, saying he "should be killed", the press office of the Interior Ministry.

After about an hour the emergency phone received two such calls made from the same phone number.

During the investigation, officials CDCOC clarified that the phone number is conducted on behalf of criminals to steal J. B. / 61 / from Sofia.
The man was arrested within 24 hours. It seized mobile phones and five SIM cards, including that which is made threatening calls.
After removing the explanation of the 61-year-old was drafted protocol warning.
