The Chinese would rather annex Japan/South Asia through economic warfare. They wouldnt jump the gun for a military takeover till the West takes the right moves to ignore it. This all ties into talk about gun control and civil war. The right distractions have to be made.

This, however, is only reported in Hong Kong media. As far as I can see, it is not reported yet in mainland China. HK media has a history of being less reliable and reporting groundless, rumor-ridden stories.

Contrary to the propaganda you have likely been fed, the Chinese media actually very carefully weighs up the facts before reporting anything to ensure accuracy, aware of the way in it is judged by those (such as yourself) ever-quick to cast negative assertions.

So until this is actually IN the Chinese media, I wouldn't put much weight on it.

I dont think Japan could defeat China, but I think they would put up a hell of a fight.

China has more navy ships, but Japan's ships are newr faster and better equipped.

Also Japan has a more strategic location along the Pacific, meaning that it would be easier for Japan to disrupt China;s trade and equipment transport.

Plus, the US will back Japan, even if we dont directly help them, we will still supply them with military equipment.

Also, Taiwan and Vietnam could help as well. China has bullied them for a long time.
