As an '80s child, I had a LOT of fun in Shropshire during our winter snow-falls. I guess had some adventurous friends, and we'd all go pretty nutty, come winter time, man: Sleighing down steep hill-sides—flying over dangerous ramps! Endless snowball fights! Ice scating—without even realizing how thin the ice was when temperatures started rising again!!! Can't say I ever camped-out in the snow, though; reckon I would have; had I stayed in England a few years longer...! Anyway, enjoy it, mate! Let your kids get a bit of adventure. |
